Welcome to my website!

I am a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). I also served as an Economist and Senior Data Analyst at Alibaba. I received my Ph.D. in theoretical economics and B.Sc. in environmental science & economics (double major) from Peking University.

My research focuses on development economics and the digital economy. I am particularly interested in research topics of entrepreneurship, innovation, e-commerce, and FinTech. My research has been published in Management Science and China Economic Journal. 

I have rich field experience in China and am deeply involved in the Enterprise Survey for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in China (ESIEC) and the Quarterly Online Survey on Micro-and-small Enterprises (OSOME) in China.
